In January 2021, Ralf P. Halbach has taken up the position as designated CEO at Geistlich Pharma. As of July 1, 2021, he will officially take over from Paul Note, who has reached retirement age. A smooth handover will take place until then.

After a long run of 3,988 kilometers, Geistlich Pharma’s annual donation found its destiny – Geistlich handed it over in São Paulo to the non-profit organization (NGO) Turma do Bem.

After the first event received an overwhelmingly positive response from more than 8,500 participants, the “Geistlich + YOU” online congress is back for a second round. Highlights include one of the largest virtual hands-on workshops there has ever been, plus the “Springboard” competition – “Become a Speaker”. Put February 2, 2021 in your calendar; registration opens on December 2.

Juerg Roth has been CFO at Geistlich Pharma since August. He started his career at the regeneration expert nine years ago. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the EAO 2020 planned for Berlin will be transformed into the virtual congress EAO Digital Days. Geistlich is represented with its own symposium as well as with a virtual booth for consultation and exchange. The most important European congress for implantology will take place from 5 to 11 October.

The four apprentices at Geistlich Pharma have successfully completed their vocational training with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ). Geistlich congratulates them warmly. The six new apprentices are in the starting blocks and will begin their training in August.

Yesterday, 20 May, the Online Congress Geistlich + YOU took place on the virtual stage with overwhelming popularity. The international event covered the entire spectrum of extraordinary situations and focused in particular on the corona topic in dentistry.
